Hobnail Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted confectioners sugar
    2 to 3 egg yolks or 1 small egg
    1/4 c. milk
    3 sq. unsweetened chocolate (3 oz.), melted
    1 Tbsp. soft shortening
    3/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place bowl in ice water.
    Use mixer to beat until of spreading consistency.
    Spread icing smoothly on cake.
