Do-Nuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 1/4 c. flour
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a 2 1/2-quart pan, combine sugar, salt, butter and 1 cup water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Quickly add all flour.
    Beat until flour is moistened.
    Cook over medium heat, beating vigorously until dough forms a ball.
    Remove from heat and add eggs, one at a time, beating with mixer.
    Batter should be smooth and shiny.
    Add vanilla.
    Drop rounded tablespoons in hot oil.
    Coat with powdered sugar.
