Tex-Mex Spice Mix - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. chili powder
2 Tbsp. ground cumin
1 Tbsp. ground black pepper
1 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp. ground red pepper
Preparation

Combine all ingredients thoroughly and store mixture in a sealed container in cool, dark, dry place up to 3 months.
Yield: 8 1/2 tablespoons.
Use in any recipe that calls for chili powder; sprinkle on meat for fajitas, tacos, etc., or any recipe that needs some zip.
Also good in taco salad.
