Chocolate Mincemeat Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 3/4 c. ready to use mincemeat (in a jar)
Preparation
    Cream butter or margarine and sugar together.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Add flour, baking soda and semi-sweet chips.
    Mix with a wooden spoon.
    Add mincemeat.
    Spread on greased and lightly floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Test with toothpick.
    Bars are moist; delicious warm or cool.
