Cheesy Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

32 oz. hash brown potatoes
1/2 c. + 2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. cream of chicken soup
1 pt. sour cream
1/2 c. milk
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 c. crushed cornflake crumbs
Preparation

Melt 1/2 cup butter and fill bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Add half of potatoes.
Combine soup, sour cream and milk; pour half of mixture over potatoes.
Layer 1 cup cheese.
Top with remainder of potatoes and soup mixture.
Top with 1 cup cheese and cornflake crumbs.
Add 2 tablespoons melted butter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
