Frozen Waldorf Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple
    1 cup sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    dash salt
    1 cup chopped celery
    3 -4 red apples, chopped
    1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
    1 cup heavy cream, whipped
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, reserve juice.
    Combine juice, sugar, eggs, salt and cook until slightly thickened.
    Cool.
    Mix all ingredients and freeze in 9 inch pan.
