Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. oatmeal
1 1/4 c. boiling water
1/2 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 2/3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Soak quick-cooking oatmeal in boiling water.
Cream butter and white and brown sugars.
Add eggs.
Sift together flour, cinnamon, soda and salt.
Combine dry ingredients with creamed mixture.
Add oatmeal; mix well.
