Strawberry Nut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. strawberry gelatin
    1 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries
    1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    3 medium bananas, mashed
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Fold in strawberries.
    Mix pineapple, bananas and nuts together.
    Add to gelatin.
    Pour half of mixture into a 13 x 8-inch dish.
    Chill until firm.
    Spread sour cream on chilled gelatin.
    Gently pour remaining mixture over sour cream.
    Refrigerate until congealed and ready to serve.
