Apple Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    10 c. water
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil.
    Fill canning jars with peeled sliced apples.
    Cover apples with this syrup. Pressure 5 pounds for 8 minutes.
