Broccoli Stem - Marinade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. broccoli stems
    2 Tbsp. white vinegar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. Oriental oil
    2/3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Preparation
    Peel broccoli stems and slice thin.
    Combine remaining ingredients to make marinade. Pour marinade over broccoli stems. Marinate 6 hours.
    Very good and crunchy in salads.
    Keeps up to 2 weeks in refrigerator.
