Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. round steak
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 medium size onion, chopped
    1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. water
    soy sauce (add for flavor)
Preparation
    Season steak and chop into bite size pieces.
    Brown steak in oil in Dutch oven.
    Add chopped celery, onion and 1/4 cup of water and saute; cover.
    Mix flour and water together until flour is no longer lumpy.
    Add 3 tablespoons of soy sauce to flour and water; mix well.
    Pour mixture into steak and vegetables and stir until well blended.
    Add more soy sauce for taste (add a little at a time).
    For thicker gravy, add cornstarch.
    Add water to thin gravy.
    Serve over rice.
    Serves 6 to 8.
