Ingredients

1 c. flour
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans
6 TBSP. Unsweetened cocoa powder, divided
2 tsp. Baking pwd.
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 TBSP vegetable oil
1 c. firmly packed lite brown sugar
1 c. boiling water
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 325\u00b0.
Grease an 8 by 8 inch baking dish.Combine the flour, sugar, pecans, 4 TBSP cocoa, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl and mix well.
Stir in milk and oil. Spread in prepared baking dish.
Combine brown sugar and remaining cocoa in a small bowl and mix well.
Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture evenly on top of batter in baking dish.
Pour boiling water on top of brown sugar mixture.
Bake until set, about 35 minutes. Serve with ice cream, whipped cream or milk.
