Chocolate Cookie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or oleo
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
4 to 6 Tbsp. cocoa
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream together butter, shortening and sugar, then add eggs, milk and vanilla.
Shortening will float on top when mixer is stopped.
Add dry ingredients by hand.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes until center springs back.
Rises like a cake.
Ice when cooled if you wish.
You may also add nuts.
