Cottage Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can (#303) crushed pineapple, undrained
    2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 pkg. lemon jello
    2 cartons cottage cheese
    2 pkg. dream whip
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Mix pineapple, water sugar and jello; bring to a boil for one minute.
    Put in large bowl until it starts to jell.
    Add cottage cheese, dream whip, nuts and cherries; fold into mixture.
    Grease a 9 x 12 pan with mayonnaise, and pour in ingredients.
    Let sit 24 hours in refrigerator before serving.
