Hot Milk Sponge Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs, separated
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. hot milk (not boiling)
Preparation

Beat egg whites until stiff; add egg yolks and sugar, beating until sugar is dissolved or about 2 to 3 minutes.
Lower mixer speed and add flour and baking powder.
Add hot milk and vanilla last.
Bake at 350\u00b0 in ungreased tube pan for 45 to 60 minutes (until tester comes out clean).
Invert pan to cool.
