Ingredients

2 eggs
2 c. buttermilk
1 c. quick oatmeal
1 Tbsp. molasses
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

In large bowl, beat eggs and buttermilk; add oats and mix well.
Stir in molasses and oil.
Combine flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
Stir into egg mixture.
If batter is too thick, thin with a little milk.
Pour about 3/4 cup batter onto greased preheated waffle maker.
Bake according to manufacturers directions.
