Chicken 'N Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 to 3 lb. frying chicken
    1/2 c. chopped onion (reserve 1 Tbsp.)
    2 thin slices lemon
    1 small bay leaf
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 1/2 c. warm water
Preparation
    Mix 1 batch of biscuit dough.
    Roll on floured board.
    Cut into 1-inch squares.
    Drop into mixture (listed ingredients). Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
