2-Minute Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. box confectioners sugar
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    In 1 1/2 quart casserole dish, stir sugar, cocoa, salt, milk and vanilla together until partially blended (mixture is too stiff to blend thoroughly).
    Put butter over top in center of dish. Microwave for 2 minutes or until milk feels warm on bottom of dish.
    If butter has not melted, it will when stirred.
    I sometimes add a heaping tablespoon of peanut butter after microwaving.
    Blend in nuts and pour in 8x4x3 dish.
    Chill 1 hour or 20 to 30 minutes in freezer.
    Makes 36 squares.
