Caramel Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. cream
    3/4 c. water
    2 egg yolks
Preparation
    Stir water, brown sugar and butter over heat.
    Boil until mixture threads when dropped from a spoon.
    Add cream, water and egg yolks to syrup.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Cook over low heat until thickened.
    Pour in baked pie crust.
    Cover with meringue made with whites of eggs.
    Brown meringue at 300\u00b0.
