Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix (bake as directed)
    2 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    1 large can crushed pineapple (well drained)
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    2 small pkg. chopped pecans or walnuts
    2 large containers Cool Whip
Preparation
    Divide baked cake in half.
    Crumble 1 half of cake in large bowl (very large bowl).
    Spread 1 mixture of instant pudding, spread 1 half of crushed pineapple, spread 1 can of cherry pie filling, sprinkle 1 package of chopped pecans.
    Spread 1 container of Cool Whip.
    Crumble the other half of cake on top and add remaining ingredients as above.
    Make the night before (best if made a couple of nights before) and keep refrigerated.
