Toasted Pecan Ice Cream Sauce(15 Minutes) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Land O Lakes butter
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecan halves, toasted
Preparation
    In 2-quart saucepan, combine all ingredients except pecans. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a full boil (6 to 8 minutes).
    Just before serving, stir in pecans.
    Serve warm or cool over ice cream, cake, pancakes or waffles.
    Yield:
    2 cups.
