Microwave Cheesy Black-Eyed Pea Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cooked black-eyed peas or 1 (16 oz.) can, drained
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    8 oz. Velveeta with jalapeno, cubed
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    chips or fresh vegetables
Preparation
    Mash peas (or use food processor) and combine with remaining ingredients in a 2-quart micro-safe bowl.
    Microwave on High for 3 or 4 minutes or until cheese is melted, stirring several times. Serve warm with chips.
