Marinated Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cabbage, shredded
    2 large onions, shredded
    4 stalks celery, chopped
    2 green bell peppers, chopped
    2 red bell peppers, chopped (for color)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. allspice
Preparation
    Mix sugar, vinegar, salt, pepper and spices in saucepan.
    Heat until very hot.
    Pour over vegetables.
    Cover; refrigerate and chill thoroughly.
