Mexican Cornbread Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 (No. 303, regular size) can creamed corn
    1 c. cottage cheese
    1 medium can green chile peppers
    1/2 lb. Longhorn cheese
Preparation
    Put liquids in largest bowl.
    Then add other ingredients. Combine dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add rest of ingredients.
    Stir lightly.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
    This is great with taco or picante sauce.
