Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large family pkg. cherry jello
    1 bag whole cranberries
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
    2 peeled, chopped apples
    mini marshmallows
Preparation
    Boil cranberries in 2 cups of water used for jello. Cranberries will explode and soften.
    Dump in sugar and dry jello. Stir.
    Let cool, but not jell.
    Add pineapple, nuts and apples. Stir until well coated.
    Pour into a large serving bowl and cover with mini marshmallows.
