Blackberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. each: cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and allspice
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. blackberries
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and allspice.
    Cream sugar, shortening and eggs.
    Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture; alternate with buttermilk into which soda has been stirred; mix well.
    Add by hand, blackberries with small amount of juice from berries.
    Bake in tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
    Ice with 7 minute icing.
