Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Blend butter, shortening and sugar together on low speed. Sift all dry ingredients together and set aside.
Add eggs to sugar mixture, then add vanilla and mix well.
Add milk and dry ingredients.
Alternate.
Pour in a tube pan; bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
