Low Cholesterol Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. safflower oil
    1 c. each: molasses and boiling water
    2 c. flour, dipped and leveled
    1 tsp. each: baking soda, ginger and cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Grease and flour 8 to 9-inch square pan; set aside.
    In bowl, mix beaten egg, sugar, oil and molasses; then boiling water.
    Sift together flour, soda, ginger, cinnamon and salt.
    Stir into liquid ingredients.
    Pour into prepared pan and bake until toothpick comes out clean, about 45 to 50 minutes. Cool 5 minutes in pan, then cut and serve.
