Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 to 4 c. frozen vegetables
water to cover
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 tsp. sugar
herbs of choice (basil, garlic, oregano or cumin are good)
Preparation

Cook together first 3 ingredients in a 4 to 5-quart pot until vegetables are tender.
Add next 5 ingredients.
Simmer for at least 1/2 hour.
