Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3 Tbsp. solid shortening
    1 c. buttermilk, well shaken
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together and cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add buttermilk all at once and stir until dough follows spoon or fork around the bowl. Knead for half a minute. Roll out and cut into biscuits. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
