French Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. melted butter
    2 eggs
    1/2 pt. whipped cream
    1/2 lb. vanilla wafers
    1 c. pecans, broken
    1 pkg. frozen strawberries
Preparation
    Combine sugar, butter and eggs.
    Whip cream.
    Roll wafers into crumbs.
    Place 1/2 of the crumbs in a greased 7 x 12-inch dish, then pour in egg mixture.
    Spread over with thawed strawberries. Fold whipped cream over this.
    Top with remaining crumbs; top with pecans.
    Chill for several hours, or freeze.
    If frozen, remove from freezer and place in refrigerator for an hour before serving.
