Apple Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    4 c. apples, chopped, pared and cored
Preparation
    Cream shortening.
    Add sugar and eggs.
    Sift flour, baking soda, nutmeg and salt and add to shortening/egg mixture.
    Add apples to batter.
    Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
