Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 slices bread
    1/2 to 3/4 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    butter or margarine
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    2 beaten eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Remove
    crust from bread.
    (I use the crust.) Butter and dice it
    and
    soak
    in
    milk.
    Add other ingredients and blend well. (I
    add coconut and raisins to taste.) Pour into greased baking dish.
    Place
    baking
    dish
    in pan of hot water in 325\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes or until top of pudding is firm, crusty and lightly browned.
    Yield:
    2 servings.
    Bread pudding should be removed from oven and allow to cool for 10 or 15 minutes before serving. Recipe can be doubled or tripled.
