Sauerkraut Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pork ribs, spareribs or neckbone
    1 large can shredded sauerkraut
    water
    salt
    pepper
    2 onions, chopped and sauteed
    2 heaping Tbsp. flour (for roux)
Preparation
    Wash meat and place in a large kettle.
    Add large can of shredded sauerkraut and enough water to cover meat and kraut. Season with salt and pepper.
    Add 2 onions which have been chopped and sauteed in butter.
    Cook, covered, slowly until meat is tender, then add roux.
