Chocolate Cake(By Cliffus Ferguson) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. cocoa
1/3 c. water
1/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 or 3 eggs

Preparation

Mix cocoa and water; stir until smooth.
Set aside.
Sift dry ingredients.
Beat eggs; add soft butter and cream well.
Add cocoa mixture and vanilla.
Add flour and sour milk gradually. Beat well.
Bake in two layers, about 350\u00b0, until brown.
