Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    4 c. coarse chopped bread
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
Preparation
    Scald milk and butter.
    Pour over all other ingredients except eggs.
    Add eggs to pan with dry and liquid ingredients.
    Pour into a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes, until a knife comes out clean.
    Serve warm.
