Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 lb.) frying chicken
    salt and pepper
    flour
    1/4 c. olive oil
    4 whole small onions
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 pimento, chopped
    1 large clove garlic, minced
    1 c. canned tomatoes
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
Preparation
    Cut chicken into serving pieces.
    Season and dredge with flour.
    Brown chicken thoroughly on all sides in heated olive oil. Add onion, pepper, pimento, garlic and tomatoes; season lightly. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours.
    Add mushrooms and simmer 20 minutes longer.
    Serve over noodles or rice.
