The Chili Pot - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. extra lean ground beef
3 medium onions, chopped
1 1/2 c. plus 1 tsp. fresh garlic, minced
1 large red bell pepper (1 c.)
1 can (28 oz.) whole tomatoes with thick tomato puree
1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans, drained
1 tsp. salt to taste
2 to 3 drops hot pepper sauce
1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
2 tsp. chili powder
Preparation

Cook beef, onions, red pepper and garlic in 3-quart Dutch oven over medium heat until onions are tender and beef loses pink color.
Add rest of ingredients.
Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered until flavors are blended.
Serve with toppings.
Makes 6 servings.
