Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    4 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
    2 c. cake flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. water
Preparation
    Beat butter until creamy.
    Add sugar.
    Stir in and blend well the flour, nuts, vanilla and water.
    Chill until firm enough to shape with fingers.
    Form into small date shaped pieces.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Roll in confectioners sugar as soon as removed from oven.
