Roman Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
2 1/4 c. flour
3/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 to 4 medium apples
Preparation

Sift together dry ingredients.
Add shortening and mix as if for biscuits.
Add milk and 2 eggs, slightly beaten.
Add vanilla. Fold in 3 to 4 medium apples (chopped fine).
