Strawberry Pecan Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. plain flour
    2 eggs, separated
    1/2 c. strawberry jam
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix butter and brown sugar, add 2 egg yolks then stir in flour.
    Press into ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
    Let stand few minutes then spread jam over crust.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and add sugar and cinnamon. Fold in pecans and spread over crust and jam.
    Bake 25 minutes more until topping is golden brown.
    Cool slightly, then cut into bars.
