Puppy Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. light Karo syrup
    1 box Rice Chex cereal
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    In small saucepan, boil first 3 ingredients for 2 minutes. In large bowl, pour this mixture over cereal and nuts.
    Mix well with buttered spatula.
    Immediately spread mixture onto wax paper and let harden for 1 hour.
    Store in airtight containers or Ziploc baggies.
