Wild Rice Mushroom Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 large carrots, sliced thin
    2 medium onions, diced
    2 (12 oz.) cans chicken broth
    2 to 3 cans water
    1 pkg. wild rice mix with seasoning
    2 (4 oz.) cans mushrooms (stems and pieces)
    1 c. diced chicken or turkey
Preparation
    Saute carrots and onion in butter or margarine until tender/crisp, then add broth, rice mix (including seasoning package) and water.
    Add mushrooms, including juice, and chicken or turkey.
    Simmer until rice is cooked.
    You may need to add water.
    A quick hearty soup!
    Yield:
    4 servings.
