Never Fail Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 clove garlic
    1 bunch fresh dill or 1 tsp. dill seed
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. canning salt
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    cucumbers
Preparation
    Place garlic, dill, sugar, salt and vinegar in sterilized jar. (Place ingredients in jar in order.)
    Pack cucumbers in jar. Fill with cold water.
    Put in boiling water bath.
    Boil for 5 minutes (no longer). Take jars out and turn upside down for 24 hours.
    Do not use pressure canner.
