Hot Milk Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 lump butter
    2 c. flour, sifted
    2 tsp. baking powder (scant)
    dash of vanilla
Preparation
    Beat sugar and eggs.
    Heat milk and butter.
    Add milk, flour and baking powder to eggs and sugar.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour into greased and floured pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
