Fresh Peach Crumble - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. granulated sugar, divided use
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. butter
    4 to 6 Tbsp. water, divided use
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 to 3 c. sliced fresh peaches
    whipped cream or ice cream (optional)
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, mix 1/2 cup of the granulated sugar, the brown sugar, the flour and nutmeg.
    Using a pastry blender, cut in butter until it resembles coarse cornmeal.
    Sprinkle with 2 to 3 tablespoons of the water; stir with fork until water is absorbed. It will make a crumbly dough.
    Pat half the mixture into the bottom of an 8 x 8-inch baking dish.
    Bake in a 450\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
