Yum Yum Layer Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
4 eggs, separated
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour (plain)
1 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. water
1 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation

Whip egg whites. Set aside.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg yolks.
Mix soda and water with buttermilk.
Add alternately with flour to the creamed mixture.
Blend in beaten egg whites and flavoring. Cook at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 35 minutes.
Makes 3 layers or a 9 x 13-inch sheet cake.
