Old-Fashioned Fried Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can cream
    4 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    lard size of an egg or large heaping Tbsp.
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix eggs, sugar and lard. Add milk. Mix baking powder with flour. Mix all together. Let stand overnight in refrigerator. Roll out and cut around saucer. Wet edges with water; put in fruit and fold. Use damp fork around edges. Deep-fry in Crisco until brown and drain on paper towel. DO NOT STACK.
