Sour Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. sour cream
    6 eggs, added separately
    1/4 tsp. soda
    2 sticks butter
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time, mixing well.
    Add soda to flour; add this to eggs, sugar and shortening, alternating with sour cream.
    Add egg whites which have been beaten stiff.
    Cook in loaf pan for 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
