Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs, beaten well
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. milk or cream
    1/2 stick butter
    6 apples, peeled and cubed
    1 c. pecans, chopped fine
Preparation
    Bring vinegar to boil.
    Add beaten eggs, sugar, flour, milk and butter.
    Cook in double boiler until thick.
    Cool and pour over cubed apples.
    Add nuts and serve.
